Need information on family of HENRY DONAHEW/ DUNAHOO and etc. spellings who lived in IZARD CO. ARKANSAS in 1850-1860 era. Per the 1850 IZARD CO. TN Census, the following is found for this family : Household 464 HENRY DONAHEW age 70 born TN James Donahew Jr. age 13 born TN Inman Donahew age 9 born TN Henry Donahew is thought to be the father to my WILLIAM C. DONAHOO who is found with that spelling of DONAHOO in 1850 IZARD CO. AR Census also. 1850 IZARD CO. AR Census ; Franklin Household 461 William C. Donahoo age 34 born TN Mary age 31 born INDIANA Parmellia age 16 born INDIANA SURILDER age 12 born INDIANA Martha age 10 born INDIANA John C. age 7 born INDIANA Louisa age 3 born ARKANSAS William C. Donahoo and wife Mary are parents to my GG Grandmother, SURILDER DONAHOO age 12 above. We are trying to trace more on this family who is listed by some being in Indiana and possibly Ohio prior to AR and had been in TENNESSEE earlier. The ARCH CATHEY family took in INMAN DUNAHOO age 16 on their 1860 IZARD CO. AR Census, and Inman was listed in his grandfathers household 464 in 1850. Later Inman Dunahoo died in 1862 during the CIVIL WAR. The CATHEY Family could connect to other CATHEYS and DONAHOO's in SC it is felt but more information is needed to connect them, I believe. What is the significance of INMAN DUNAHOO living with the ARCH CATHEY family then in that 1860 IZARD CO. AR census, or was he just a farm laborer as listed on that census ?
