My great-grandmother was Nancy Brockman. She married Thomas Asbury Speak. She was born in 1843, died in 1887. I am trying to find information on her family. Her father's name was Thomas, and I think her mother's name was Carey. Carey was, possibly, a Cherokee Indian.
