Dortha,
I was looking at Calvin Long and Cassie 'Prater' Long.
How or who are you related to in these lines? I would
love to exchange more info w/you about Isaac Long 1
and Rebecca's grown children. Isaac Long 1 was my
GGG Grandparents son, a brother to my gg grandfather,
Maples Long of Harrison, Boone Co. Arkansas. Some of
the grown children of Isaac and Rebecca are buried in
the 'Long' cemetery that is in Stone Co. Ark. Rebecca is
buried there, but Isaac is buried in the National Cemetery
in St. Louis. He was in the Civil War, Union Inf. I have pictures of their tombstones, some of them you can really
read to well. The one I exchange info w/on Calvin &
Cassie's grandson, Raymond, took the pictures in the
cemetery. I visited w/him last night and Raymond has had
to go to a nursing center now. He had some heart problems last year and hasn't done well. I was planning on meeting him at the 'Long' family reunion in October. I hope to go
over in Arkansas and get to meet him, if he is well enough.
The reunion is held in Willard, Missouri, I'm in southern
Oklahoma. It's so nice to hear from you, I'll look forward in hearing from you again. Thanks....Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes
