Not related to these families. Looks as if Burney King was really Stanford B King b Dec 1850 in MS. On the 1880 Izard Co Union TWP he is married to Nancy and has 3 children in the house. He is named Stanford B. King. 1900 Izard Co census, he is widowed with 9 ch at home and states b Dec 1850 MS. There is a Nancy King b 1858 in the Wayland Arbor Cem but they say she died Sept 2 1909. Of course, the stone may not be legible and this was the best they could get. I do not see a burial for Burney. There was a Samuel W(Whitfield) King b 1825 AL and his wife Margaret(Leach/Leech) on the 1860 census in Izard, but no son listed. Also in 1860 in Craighead Co, there is Wm A Leech with sister ME King and her children one of which is son S B age 11 MS. 1850 Lafayette Co MS, SW King is there with wife ME and a son David age 2. On the 1860 census in Izard Co, the Samuel King family is one house away from Nancy Wayland and her parents. Hope this helps, some, Rayedene Seal Graves Notify Administrator about this message?
