The marriage is in Jackson County on 4 Jun 1912. Henry Marts is 23 from Jacksonport and Fanny Newcomb is 18 and also from Jacksonport. I don't see a Henry Mart that fits that age on any Arkansas census, but I do see a Fannie Newcomb but she isn't the right age. She was only 12 on the 1910 census so that would mean that she married at 14, but stated she was 18. There is a Henry Mart in another county but he is five years older than this one states on the marriage record. If this is your Fannie then it is a hard one to figure. The father is James Newcomb and is age 65. It shows that it is his third marriage. The wife is Kara age 37 and it is her second marriage. Children are John, age not readable. Fannie, 12 and Mary A.... (could be Arena or Anna, something starting and ending with an "A") 3 months. It states the mother has had 4 children with 3 living and has been married "12 years". If I go back 10 years to the 1900 census of Bird, Jackson, AR I find: James Newcomb, 56, B. Dec 1843, mar 9 years, TN TN TN Kate or Kare, 27, Jul 1872, AR TN TN 2 children, 2 living. Married 9 years. James, 16, born Feb 1884, Tennessee John, 5, born Dec 1874 AR Fannie, 3, born Jun 1897 AR Notify Administrator about this message?
