Is a lost cemetery recoverable?

I would like to know if it's possible to recover a cemetery or not?
My family owned a piece of land in Pine Bluff pre-1930; my grandmother, now deceased, and my last living great Uncle said there was a cemetery on the property.
According to my grandmother, the cemetery is so old, it has slave burials on it, too. I don't know if this is true or not, however.
My Mother says her mother took her to this cemetery when she was abt. 10-12 yrs old - around mid 1950's - @ the time, she said there were enormous oak trees grown over the gravesites.
I presume it's lost, probably has a parking lot or a mall on top of it now, but have vague directions from my great uncle. He says there were traces of the road left the last time he visited the Old Farm, but no indication of what decade that might have been in, lol!
I was wondering if it would be possible to pin-point the location through land ownership records, and whom to contact?
Thanks to anyone who might be able to assist me on this, please post or e mail: sassenach_origins@hotmail.com
Thank you again!
Jessica
