My gggrandfather Benjamin Coats b NC 1799 was listed on the 1850 Census Darysaw Twp as a "Preacherman".
Is there any information available on what churches were active in this community in 1850?
He died between 1854-58 in Hot Spring Co and I cannot find information on him or his family.
Any information appreciated.
