Hello. By chance was there a man named Jones Williams?
My great grandfather's sister married around about 1890 a man by that name who either ran or owned a saloon in Lonoke, Arkansas around the turn of the last century.
He left my Aunt Laura (with three little girls all of who are long since dead) and since I never heard anything about him, I would guess he was not highly regarded. It is even possible that my great grandfather ran him out of town just like he did a worthless son-in-law he did not care for.
It is also possible that the descendants of these folks were the little children my great grandmother took in and raised. The boys would have been born around 1890.
Lonoke County is just north of Jefferson.
Per chance you decide you are interested in a researcher, I can suggest a good one.
Linda
