While I am not aware of a Jones Williams, that does not mean he didn't exist as a member of the family I am researching given that the surnames are Jones and Williams. What I do know is that Edmond (commonly referred to as Doc) Williams and his sister Matilda Jane Williams left Anderson,SC for Arkansas. Matilda married Hosea Pinkney Dean. The Deans are buried near Dean Springs. There is a Doc Williams buried in a nearby area. The birth of Doc Williams in 1860's would make him old enough to be the father of Jones Williams. I do not have family records of Doc Williams, however. Perhaps someone else will recognize this family.
