I would start by going to the library in pine bluff and looking at the newspaper around that time frame... the newspapers there are fantastic and go back to as early as 1875... the people at the library.... are more than friendly and helpful.. if you dont live there you can probably find someone to do it for you ... if you cant find anyone to do it.. on my next visit to there i can do it... i was just there a few days ago...
