Hello. To learn something about the Civil War, try posting at the
Arkansas Civil War site ran by Jim Martin as it is excellent.

This is strictly Civil War and not genealogy. When you get there, check out the Gerdes site as it is a complete listing of the men from Arkansas and who they served with.
If you are interested in a researcher, I can suggest someone who is actually good. She gets a donation to the local musuem building fund for her efforts.
