Seeking information on the C. C. ORTO family, living in Fayette Co. TN in 1860. Wife is named Martha and children are: John; Leon; L.D. (probably daughter Liddie/Lydia) and Zephry. C.C. ORTO died before 1870, and family moved to IN and then to AR. Liddie married William COWAN and they were farming around Van Buren Co. Children born there were: Luther Francis; three daughters and son Thomas. Liddie died when Thomas was small, and William took the children to live with his sister (name unknown) in Clarksville, TX. Zephry became a Dr. and established a practice in Pine Bluffs. I believe that he married and had at least one daughter.
