James thank you for your search. I looked at the original paper on which this church is named again and I believe the name is Slover Creek. I have found that there is a Slover Creek and Slover Creek Cemetery near Holman, Johnson County, Arkansas. Thomas Spencer and Mary Jane were not in Johnson County until sometime after 1880. They show up in the 1900 census. Betty
