Clarksville is the county seat of Johnson County, Arkansas. It is 56 miles east of Fort Smith.

I would be glad to help you look for information on your family from Johsnon Co. I have census 1850-1910. Also have marriages from 1850 through 1924 in books. Also have a cemetery book done in 1976 by the Extention Service clubs and 4-H clubs. It is not indexed, but each cemetery is in alphabetical order. What names are you searching for?
