I am trying to locate the birthplace of H R STUCKEY who came to Bright Star, Lafayette, AR from AL after 1856. He married a Nancy (perhaps her name was SHEPHERD) in AL.
H R & Nancy had a dau. Martha Jane STUCKEY b. 7 Dec 1856, AL d. 23 July 1951, Mira, Caddo , LA and is buried at Munley Chapel Cemetery SW of Ida, Caddo, LA.
She m. Thomas Jefferson SAMS they had 12 children (4 infants died)
Does this family sound familiar to anyone? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
