In 1850 Robert G. Harper, wife and 2 children appear on the Lafayette Co, AR census. My delimma is that I believe my ancestress may be a member of this family. She appears on the Hempstead Co, AR census in 1850 while attending a girls' school: Name-- Mary Malinda Harper, age 15. In 1851 she married Elias Samuel Miller in Lafayette Co, AR and both are of age and Mary M. is a resident of said county. If anyone can look up in the Arkansas Financier info re Robert G. Harper, I would be willing to pay for the service. I cannot find Robert G. Harper anywhere after 1850. E.S. & Mary M. Miller end up in Columbia Co until 1867 when they move to Henderson Co, TX. Thanks.
