Thank you for your help and interest. 1) The 1881 date for Eaton Pugh Govan is from probate file of his will. It does not give a place of death. I am not sure of the source of death place for Julia. 2) I cant find my notes on 1880 census. I am not sure where he was. 3) Cornelia Govan ( E P's 2nd wife) is shown as owning land adjoining D C Govan's in SW Lee Co in 1890 in a list of property owners prepared as a census substitute and printed in the Tri County genealogy publication. I am wondering if there might have been a family cemetery in that area. Cornelia and a son Clifton D Govan are buried in Holly Springs in the Govan family plot I grew up in Marianna and think that if Eaton Pugh Govan were buried there some one in the family would have known about it. Just to complicate matters there is a grandson named Eaton Pugh Govan buried in Marianna and a son and g-son buried in Helena. I checked with the Episcopal churches and cemeteries in Marianna, Helena and Holly Springs 15 years or so and didnt find out much. Maybe I should try again Thank yyou again Frank Notify Administrator about this message?
