(Marianna, AR) The Courier-Index March 10, 1932
"C.L. Langston, aged 60, one of the pioneer citizens of Lee County, Marianna, AR died at his home near Aubrey on Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock at Rehobeth Baptis Church. Mr. Langston was born in Union County, South Carolina and moved to Arkansas in 1870. He had been a resident of Lee County for more than 60 years."

"Couple Living in House They Moved Into 51 Years Ago as Newlyweds" Mr. & Mrs. C.L. Langston of Aubrey, Lee County, celebrated their fifty-first wedding anniversary at their home Monday. They were married at Vineyard February 22, 1880. Mr. Langston was born in 1851 at Union, S.C. and Mrs. Langston was born in 1860 at Bolivar, Tenn. They live in the same house they came to as a bride and groom in 1880. Both are active in church and community affairs. Four persons are living who attended the wedding. They are T.C. Langston, brother of the groom; W.O. Hopkins, J.W. Binkley and J.B. Lowe. (Also has great picture of Mr. and Mrs C.L. Langston.
