Charles N. Anderson
Charles N. Anderson, 79, died at his home in Star City yesterday at 9 a. m.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at the chapel of South Funeral Home in Star City with the Rev. James Cheshier, pastor of the Assembly of God Church there, officiating. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include: one son, Tony Anderson of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Bramlett of Star City, Mrs. Bertha Howard of Dyess; one sister, Mrs. Ida Webb of Star City; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathanial Anderson, Mr. Anderson was born in Missouri June 27, 1869. He and his wife, the former Miss Susan Frances Barnes moved to Lincoln county 14 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist church.

The name of Charles N. Anderson's grandson, Kenneth D. Bramlett, is on the World War II Memorial on the old courtsquare in Star City. He was one of about 24,000 men who died in the Normandy Invasion in June of 1944.
Charles and Susan Anderson are buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Lincoln County beside the Bramletts. However, their graves are not marked.
