I have found some info on your family:

Name: William Fra Simmons
Death Day: 13
Death Month: Mar
Death Year: 1930
County: Little River
Roll Number: 19241933

Name: Tennesse Jan Simmons
Death Day: 14
Death Month: Feb
Death Year: 1940
County: Little River
Roll Number: 19341940
Page Number: 3112

They are both buried in the Oak Hill Cem Little River Co.
He was b Feb 28 1857 in GA and she was b Oct 14 1854.

Wm Frank and his family were on the same census pg in 1880 with Tennessee and her family.

Their son Theophilous Dock Simmons Mar 29 1889-Feb 12 1976 is buried next to them.

They had a dtr, Bertie/Birdie Octavia who married Joseph Spencer Patterson in 1908 in LR Co. He died in 1918 and is buried in the Alleene Cem. I assume Birdie remarried but I can not find that record. She and Joe had a dtr, Ethel Bernice b 1909 who married CC Fowler in Bowie Co TX.

Theophilous "Dock" married Mary A Woods and had William F Simmons and Mary Frances.

That is all I have been able to find on them.

I do believe the Martins you found in 1850 Coffee Co TN are the same Jesse and Caroline. Old time script appeared to be a "p" or "f" when there were double S's. Can't figure out the names of the kids being scambled, tho.
