I searched the online Arkansas marriage indexes for all counties and there is just no possible match for the marriage of Thomas Horn and Dora Lasater. I used every search trick I could think of including using soundex and I even searched by just their first names and no last name.
I can think of 5 reasons why their marriage record was not in these marriage indexes:
(1) it was never filed or recorded (real possibility!)
(2) it was skipped when the marriages were being transcribed
(3) the original marriage record has been misfiled
(4) the original marriage record was removed by someone, destroyed, or is lost
(5) Thomas & Dora did not marry in Arkansas (considering the year and the geographical location of Logan County I really do not think this is the case)
I did find 2 Horn-Lasater marriages in Logan County
1)Sam HORN married Sugie LASATER 11 Sep 1894 Logan Co AR
2)Maggie HORN married Claiborn A LASATER 03 Jun 1900 Logan Co AR
