Hi,
Green Forest is located in Carroll County, Arkansas, which is the county to the north of Madison County. Green Forest should be on any Arkansas map that you look at, since it's still a town.
When you say "War Eagle" are you talking about War Eagle Township in the census, or are you talking about the community of War Eagle?
War Eagle township is located in the exact center of Madison County, and includes the town of Huntsville.
War Eagle community is located in the eastern edge of Benton County. Benton County joins Madison County at the extreme northwest corner.

there is a map that you can click on that shows exactly where War Eagle is located. It is the sight of the War Eagle Arts and Craft fair which is held each spring and fall.
