I can't help with the birthplace of Grace Bell, but did find some marriage records that seem to fit the family of George Bell, and his marriage to Thursday. 1917/18 draft cards for brothers George Jr, and Charles. I see you already found the Civil War Pension Record, Have you sent away for the records? Widow's Files are very helpful, I have found. I find a Joshua Bell , with a son George W.about the right age, in Jersey Co. Illinois, 1850 & 1860. If any of this would help, I will send it along,
