I am looking for the family of Thomas Lowery and Elizabeth Birks. Elizabeth is the daughter of Richard Birks who livied in Illinois 1820, 1830, and died there in 1839. In 1844 a petition was filed by Elizabeth's sister Sarah Martin (husband Drury Martin) in 1844 listing Elizabeth and her husband Thomas. -- Thomas may have been named William Thomas Lowery. In 1860 there is a family living in Marion Co., Arkansas:
