William I, Dr. James, Algernon, L.W., Aldigeon Delony
I am asking for help in researching the Delony family who moved from Alabama to Arkansas around 1850. I am particularly interested in 1.) Dr. James H. Delony, who was accused in Alabama of shooting a preacher (but who apparently was not convicted and lived an exemplary life around Mineral Springs, Ark., after moving there); 2.) my great-great-grandfather William I. Delony, who disappeared from Garrison, Texas, about 1865 and who is a mystery to me afterward -- where/when did he live and die? 3.) William I.'s son Algernon and family, and his son Aldigeon who apparently lived in the same area; 4.)Little River County planter L.W. Delony, who apparently was assassinated by a man named Pullem or Pullen. Thank you in advance if you can help me with this information. And I will be glad to share my information with you, if you wish. My email is [email protected].
