In the 1860 census, they appear in Butler County, Iowa. Jeremiah fought in the Civil War in the 3rd Independent Battery, Iowa Light Artillery. When the war ended, he was in Arkansas.

He remained in Arkansas and married Mary M. Odle Haley on 30 March 1867 in Hot Springs, Garland County.

They appear in the 1870 census in Mountain, Montgomery County, Arkansas and in 1880 in Hickman, Scott County, Arkansas.

I am descended from Jeremiah Shreeves and Mary Daniels through their daughter Barbara Anne Shreeves Hamilton. I would like to learn more about the Shreeves family in Arkansas. Thanks.
