James R.Rogers b/1878 -mother Francis Allen Self Rogers

Need help finding JAMES ROGERS, son of Francis Allen Self Rogers. Found on 1880 Conway, AR census with gf-Asa Allen and family. Census says b/MS 1878-father and mother-AL. Found a James R. Rogers-Nevada Co. AR 1930-wife-Docia. Could this be him. Who was his father? What happened to his mother?
Please help if you know this family.
