A followup to my message on 10/22/05 on the Indiana and Clark Co., Ill boards. I have Eva Oaks born to Elizabeth A Swim and William Henry Oaks/Oakes/Okes in September 1884 in Clark Co., Illinois. She married Jasper Bailey Oct 14, 1900 in Jasper Co. Illinois. They are listed in the 1910 census in North Muddy,Jasper Co., Ill with all the children but the last 2. She had the following children by Bailey; Viva 1902(which I think is Vivian/Blanch) Pearl (son) 1904, Harold D.1906, Sarah E.1908, Charles F.1913 Zola M.1918. All the children were born in Ill except the last 2 in the 1920 census. I found this family in Nevada Arkansas (Missouri part) in the 1920 census with Jasper N. Bailey still living, however I think he died in 1920 or at least that's what the Illinois State Archives says. Her father William Oaks died in Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana may 10, 1934. She was listed as a Mrs. Eva Turner with the rest of her siblings.; Eliza/Blanch Basham, Loyd, Arthur, Henry and Miss Zola Oaks. The William Oaks family is listed in North Muddy, Jasper Co., Ill in 1900 census and Eliza is listed in the same census as a boarder with her uncle Vincent Swim in Johnson, Clark Co, Ill just a few months later. I dont know of the marriages of the children. I know what happened to Eliza, Loyd, Henry (my grandfather), Zola, Arthur and the parents; William and Elizabeth just dont know much about Eva/Evie/Evea oaks-Bailey-Turner.Zola M. is a family name so I know I have the right family there in Arkansas. This makes since for them to have moved to Arkansas as Elizabeth Swim Oaks died in 1904 and all of her children except Eva went to Hope Arkansas to live with Eliza and her husband Charles Fox. They are all there in the 1910 census with Eliza. Anyway this is too much here so I will stop. I hope I have not confused anyone.. Any help would be appreciated...thanks...Sally
