Mrs. Louise Sampson (nee Brock) was wife of James H. Sampson and daughter of Thomas and Jane Brock, and mother of Howell C., Sarah J., Nancy Caroline, etc.

Comment regarding the Sampson Family Reunion at Jack J. Sampson's place in Laneburg, Nevada Co., Arkansas in 1924. I find it hard to believe that the descendants of James and Louise gathered in 1924 and didn't take a group picture. I'm going to beat the bushes and see if someone among the kin has a group picture of at least the children of James and Louise, if not all 84 persons who showed up and just doesn't realize what they have. The fact that James H. Sampson died in 1899 and Louise died in 1900 makes me wonder if there may be old, old photos of them too, floating around somewhere.
