Hello,
I've been stuck in researching a SMITH family who lived in Prescott in 1890. My problem is that the father (possibly a Frank) died before the 1900 census. I have requested both a death record for him, and a delayed birth record for my grandfather, born Prescott 1890, both with no luck.
So, anyone have other tips for breaking through brickwalls in Nevada County, Prescott in particular? I've searched the Depot records, but found nothing that fits.
