Looking for Nichols, Welch, or Maxey

Hello Newton County Researchers

I'm searching for a WELCH that my great great GM Margaret Wells, b. 1832 in TN. She married this man after her apparent divorce from James Edward Maxey sometime after March of 1854.

James and Margaret Maxey were located in the 1850 Newton County, Polk Twp, AR census with their first child, Alfred Maxey. Their last, Margaret Caroline was born in 1854 there in Newton Co. My grandfather Walter Lee b. 1851 was their middle son.

Sometime in 1855, James married the widow of James Nichols, Mary Ann Brewer. She had a child, Mary Jane Nichols.
Their first child was born in 1857 after their move to Travis Co, TX.

James Maxey had these three siblings with him when he married Mary Nichols. We are curious what happened to Margaret? We do know that she married a Welch, but know nothing of him.

If anyone has any info, please contact me or reply
to this message.
thanks
Terri
