Terri, found your message on the Newton County, Arkansas forum about the Nichols, Welch and Maxey families. I'm interested in the Maxey name. My gg-grandfather was Jackson Wallace. His mother was Esther Wallace. I believe she was married to a Maxey and her son was James Edward Maxey. She lived next door to him in Arkansas and was found with him in Travis county, Texas. Can you help me with any information about this family? I know Esther is connected to the Maxey's because she is with them through out the middle 1800's.
