Looking for information on W. J. Cowan and Margaret Walker both of Kapark. They married in Newton co in 1898. W.J. Cowan died 4/1900. Margaret Cowan (widow) and Allis Cowan (Age 1) shown living with Margaret's father William Giffen Walker in the 1900 census.
I believe Margaret married a Elmer Turner. A cousin of Margaret wrote me that Joe Turner (son of Margaret) had visited her parents in the 70's. Margaret's sister Nancy married Searls Collins of Kapark. Her other sister Sarah married Wm David Taylor of Kapark. All have family buried at Kapark cemetery in Newton Co.
Would like any information or leads on Margaret or Allis Cowan.
