I have a published book for the 1870 census. I was adding the notes to this when I discovered that Van Buren Township was missing from this list. It is not in either section. There are 62 households listed in this Township. It is located where the community of Boxley is in west central Newton Co. Who are you hunting in Newton County? Maybe i can help.
