Thanks so much for writing. Do you by chance have any knowledge of Pleas's family? I have quite a bit of info on his father and grandfather, but am searching for info on Pleas's father's brother, Elisha SMITH and his wife, America A. After Elisha died, America remarried and I can't find out who she married or what happened to her afterward. I thought perhaps John N.'s family (Pleas's father)would know something about America and her husband, as they lived in the same area. Also, I didn't realize Pleas remarried - could you give me more info about Pleas' family? The only info I have is from census records. What was your great-aunt's name?
