My family lived in Perry, Rankin & La Grue AR. My grandfather's name was Lester Phillips, His father was Wesley M. Phillips (born 1888) and his father was Pinkney Phillips married to Josephine Phillips of South Carolina. Josephine and Pinkney had the following children: George, John A., James M., Rhoda A. and Wesley M.
I am trying to find info on Pinkney. He was apparently born in Alabama around 1851. Any help tracking down where or who his parents were, &c. would be greatly appreciated
