Tyler,
May have some information regarding Mary Jane Ashcraft. I have a family tree book that was given to my father's family at a family reunion years ago. It was compiled by a D.A. Tucker. It has a Mary Jane Hamilton, daughter to James L. and Nancy Hamilton born November 16, 1859 in Arkansas, probably Bradley County. She died November 23, 1948, in McFarland CA at the home of her daughter Faytha. She was buried as Mary Jane Ashcraft at Delano, CA and her nickname was Sis.

She married a Brad Raney and they lived three houses down from John T. Hamilton.

Later she married Calvin Monroe Ashcraft. (Don't know what happened to Brad.) They lived with James L. Hamilton when the 1900 census was taken.

Mary Jane's children moved to California where she later joined them. She died there in 1948. Her children were James Alexander Ashcraft, Faytha Jane Parsons, and step-son, George, W. Raney.

My kin to her:
Me
My dad-Delbert Ashcraft
His Mother-Berley Vay Hamilton Ashcraft
Her father-John T. Hamilton (Mary Jane's older brother)
His Father-James L. Hamilton

Hope this helps. If you need more informaiton, contact me.
