This is most probably the same William V. Taylor who was in the HH of Nathaniel R. Jarrott in the 1850 census of Marshall Co., MS. There was a marriage in Marshall Co., MS that could be him: Wm. Taylor m: Mary Jarrall 29 Aug 1848, Marshall Co., MS. FTM CD#5. Since that is the only Jarrall listed in that county's marriage records, but there are a lot of Jarratt, Jarrett, Jarrott listings, I'd suspect that Mary's surname was Jarratt.

I suspect that Nathaniel Jarrott is the same as Nathl. Garrett of the 1840 census of Marshall Co., MS. There is also a William V. Taylor as head of a large household in the 1840 Marshall Co., MS census, possibly a father or relative of the one who shows up with Jarratts in 1850. Will email you info. This is not my line.
