You might have better luck contacting the Tri-County Genealogical Society in Marvel, AR. It is my understanding that Flora Turner and husband did cemetery surveys of the Phillips Co., AR cemeteries. http://www.rootsweb.com/~artcgs/index.htm should get you there, and a contact email is at the bottom. In 1930 your Burns family was in Tappan Township, which would put them S/SE of Helena, down around Elaine, AR. Folks in that part of the country pronounce it like two words, E laine, with emphasis on the E. It's flat, fertile, wet land with big farms and a lot of good fishing.
