Jan, when I stared searching for my family, about 2 two yrs ago, I came across,? where I do not know..information on my father's older sister, Effie (Cocke McClure).
Effie was shown on a cemetery site..As Effie Cocke McClure, d. 1915, wife of Tomas Mason McClure. Burial was in Academy Cemetery, Pike CO,AR. Since, that time, I have searched for and I'm unable to find this information.
I would be much appreciative of any information....Also, lost their sister, Ola Cocke,I do not know if she married?
This was the family of James Alexander Cocke and Martha Jefferson (Goode) (1)Ballard (2)Cocke. The family was together on the 1900, Pike Co, AR. Census, Thompsom Trak Township, and again, in 1910. In 1920 Census, Ouachita Co,AR., only the four younger children were with the family..
