Lucetta Latimer Parker Davis was my ggg-mother through Epsy Clementine Parker Dowdle. She was previouly married to John H Parker (a name that is very common and difficult to find). Lucetta married Levi Bailey Davis on June 5, 1868 in Center Point, Arkansas. The Rev. John Henry, Methodist M.G. who was her grandfather performed the ceremony and her brother Isham Prewitt Latimer and Reese H. Henry witnessed the service. I have the Davis Bible with this entry, if you are interested in received a copy. Lucetta was the daughter of Isham Prewitt Latimer and Mary Caroline Henry. The Rev. John Henry mentioned above was Mary Caroline's father.
I am trying, without any luck, to research John H. Parker. Can you help me?
