There are some names similar to McWhirter in the Poinsett County marriage
records. The old records are hand written and may have been misspelled or
the data entry clerk just could not read the handwriting..

1926 MCWHORTER HARRISON married BONDREAUX MAURENA

1888 SNELL GEORGE married MCWHENTEN MAMMIE

1917 JOHNSON J H married MCWHIRTER IDA
1921 HARRIS WILL H married MCWHORTER OLLIE B
