Well, you probably remember more about the court house burnings than I do. But I was told for years that all records had burned. We went there and found where my great great grandfather had remarried. I understand about relatives that don't have an interest in genealogy. I live about an hour's drive south from Harrisburg. I need to go back. Haven't been there in a couple of years. The library does have several things, but it's just a small library and I'm sure they just don't have the funds to put things on line. Now, Jackson County, the county bordering Poinsett on the West has a lot of things on line. They have people there more interested in genealogy....people who are willing to volunteer to get things done.
I love Sarah Palin. I'm on her www.teamsarah.org site every day checking things out. I think she had to resign in order to be left alone to really see where things were going to lead her. I think she's a very strong christian and I'm sure she's following God's lead for her. I truly believe that she has a major role to play in leading our country in a better direction. I don't know what that role will be...maybe president, maybe not...but I'm looking forward to seeing what that is. Thanks for sharing her with the rest of us.
