Info needed for family of Phineas M. Pittman who resided first in Prairie and then in White Co.. The family was originally from Halifax Co., NC. In 1856 Phineas received a land grant in Prairie county. He then disappears. His family is found in the 1880 census for White Co. Have info to share.
