John ENGLAND IL>AR

I may have found a new connection. I'm crossing my fingers anyhow.

There is a family in the 1860 Montgomery County, IL census, John and Jane ENGLAND, with children Eliza England (16), Sarah Anderson (9), Nancy England (4), David England (3), and Malissa England (1).

I find the same family in Prairie County AR in 1870, with John and Jane and children S.E. (female 19), N.C. (female 15), D.P. (male 13), M. (female 11), and H.P. (female 6)

I find an Harriet age 17 living with brother in law John in 1880 in Prairie County. All other ENGLANDs are gone from this county in this census. I believe this Harriet to be the HP from above, and I believe the John to be my ggrandfather.

My great grandfather being named "John ENGLAND" (no known middle name) has been a tremendous brick wall for me. All I knew is that family thought he had a brother named David and a lot of sisters. This certainly fits the bill! I'd love to make a connection.
