GOLDING family of Floyd co. GA and Prairie co. AR

I am researching the family of William GOLDING and his wife Elizabeth, who I believe to be the parents of my great-great-great-great-grandmother, Lydia GOLDING or GOLDEN. She married Pleasant Earl KEENER on July 12 1849 in Silver Creek Church, near Rome, in Floyd co. GA. Shortly before this, on May 20 1848, the same reverend who married Lydia and Pleasant performed the marriage of Mary A. GOLDING to Joshua BROADWAY. I suspect both Lydia and Mary are daughters of William and Elizabeth.

On the 1850 census of Floyd co. GA, Pleasant and Lydia and their daughter Elizabeth are living on page 91. A few pages away appears the family of William and Elizabeth GOLDEN, on page 103.

Wm. GOLDEN, 46, M, Day Laborer, SC
Elizabeth, 46, F, GA
Martha, 18, F, AL
Robert, 17, M, Day Laborer, AL
Wm., 16, M, Day Laborer, AL
Elizabeth, 14, F, GA
John, 12, M, GA
Jas., 10, M, GA
Homer V., 8, M, GA
Sarah, 6, F, GA
Selom (mistake for Seaborn), 3, M, GA
Manda, 2 months, F, GA
Thad, 14, M, GA
James GOLDEN, 23, F, GA
Martha, 23, F, SC

This is the only family of GOLDINGs in Floyd co. GA. I strongly suspect that both Lydia and Mary were daughters of William and Elizabeth. Now, between 1850 and 1860 the family moved to Prairie co. AR, where we find them on the 1860 census. Theirs is household #819, page 119.

William GOLDING, 55, M, Farmer, SC
Elizabeth, 55, F, SC
Robert, 26, M, AL
William, 24, M, AL
John, 22, M, AL
Josephus, 19, M, AL
Virgil, 17, M, GA
Seaborn, 13, M, GA
Amanda, 18, F, GA
Sarah, 15, F, GA

Notice that some of the ages have varied since the 1850 census, especially for the girls, but that's not unusual. Missing are Martha and Elizabeth (perhaps married), and Thad and James, who have perhaps moved out on their own. Also interesting is who's living two households down at #821!

J. BROADWAY, 60, M, Laborer, TN
Mary, 35, F, TN
Mardy?, 12, M, TN
John, 10, M, TN
Mary, 4, F, TN
Margaret, 1, F, TN

This is obviously Joshua BROADWAY and Mary A. GOLDING who were married in Floyd co. GA in 1848. Pleasant KEENER and his wife Lydia didn't move to Arkansas, but instead to Alabama. I suspect that both Lydia KEENER and Mary BROADWAY were daughters of William and Elizabeth GOLDING, and that many more people may be descended from their other daughters, Martha, Elizabeth, Amanda, and Sarah, as well as their sons. Is anyone connected to or descended from this family, and know about their activities in Georgia? Or have death dates and sources for William and Elizabeth?
