I am seeking information on the following individuals: ELIZABETH ALDRIDGE m. CLINTON H. BRIDGES 01 MAY 1856; LUCRETIA BRIDGES m. N. M. CONWAY (CONAWAY?) 01 SEP 1857; JOHN WESLEY BRIDGES m. FRANCES E. SLATTERY 17 NOV 1872. John Wesley Bridges was my g.grandfather; Lucretia and Clinton were his brother and sister. Lucretia and Mr. Conway must have died, because in the 1860's custody of their two sons is granted to the mother of John Wesley, Mary Bridges, in Pulaski County. After she died, the boys went to live with a Bridges aunt in Little Rock. Elizabeth Aldridge either died or the marriage broke up because Clinton H. Bridges married in 1859 an Emaline Warren of Macon Co.,GA. He served in the Civil War, and they eventually settled in Coleman, Florida. If anyone has connections to any of these people, please contact me. Question: If a family was found in Caroline Township in the 1850 census, Pulaski Co., would that have later been what was to become Prairie Co? Thank you so much. emvee@kingwoodcable.com Mildred Brady Venitucci Notify Administrator about this message?
