Hello. There will be a Brummitt community reunion on Satuday, June 8, 2002 at the Macedonia Baptist Church at Humnoke, Arkansas.
If you ever lived at Brummitt, passed through, visited or had connections there, you are invited. Brummitt sat right there on the Bayou Meto on the edge of Prairie County on the most southeastern part of Lonoke County.
Bring your keepsakes that relate to the once thriving community.
Mr. Earnest Best from Des Arc who wrote the book Sharecropper's Son will be on hand.
Current plans call for a catered luncheon at 12 with a program later that evening with gospel singing even later in the day.
Lloyd Snider of Stuttgart is in charge.
