Does anyone know anything about the Orphan's Asylum started by Rev. Francis Springer during the Civil War and how I can find out the names of the children who lived there? I'm pretty sure my great grandfather was one of those children whose parents were killed by bushwhackers and was taken in by this orphanage. Thank you.
