Sarah Aldridge got married in Sebastian County in about 1880.
I think she was the same Sarah Aldridge who was the daughter of Wiley Fort in Bowie County. TX in 1860, and the mother of Billy Aldridge and John Aldridge, living in the household of Wiley Fort in the 1860 Census. Is there any way that I can find out if this is the case?
Wiley Fort lived in Marengo County, Alabama in 1850, and Sarah was in his household as an unmarried daughter. But in 1860, listed as a daughter, named Sarah Aldridge, and with 2 sons, named William and John,8 and 4 respectfully.
I would really appreciate any help I can get regarding this.
I am a direct descendant of Sarah Aldridge's son Billy Aldridge.
